Senior Architect

What is your role:

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Architect to run workplace projects both in the UK and abroad. They value a comprehensive skill set that encompasses experience in new construction and retrofitting, as well as a diverse range of sectors, including residential. Our client actively encourages involvement across all projects within their studio, fostering a stimulating and engaging atmosphere for all team members.

We are looking for applicants who possess a natural talent for design and a track record of working on exceptional projects, as showcased in their impressive portfolio. It is essential that candidates demonstrate their ability to contribute to the design philosophy and have great technical stages experience. As a successful applicant, you will have the chance to be involved in prestigious projects, playing a vital role in the entire project life-cycle from concept development to project completion. What makes you good at your job:

• You are ARB or RIBA registered.
• You have at least 3-4 years UK post qualification experience
• You have experience working on profile middle-east projects
• You have a proven track record of job-running and experience working across all stages
• You have excellent creative design capabilities demonstrated by a portfolio
• You can demonstrate experience in all stages of design and construction administration
• You have 2D and 3D software knowledge including Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and InDesign

What the role includes:

• You will collaborate with the design team to develop project plans, concepts and designs for commercial and mixed-use projects
• You will lead the production of project documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules
• You will manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
• You will coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants
• You will provide technical guidance and support to project team members
• You will create building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design(CAD) applications
• You will plan, develop and implement building designs, packages, details, within budget.
• You will write and present reports, proposals, applications and contracts
• You will adapt plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
