What You’ll Do:

As a key member of the interior design team, you’ll work closely with the Head of Interior Design to shape and expand the department, currently a talented group of three. The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of post-qualified experience in the UK, ideally with all-around experience in luxury hospitality and residential projects.
  • Proven expertise across all RIBA stages, with experience on high-end, 5-star (and above) hospitality developments.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends in luxury materials and design innovations within the hospitality sector.
  • A strong creative mind with the ability to contribute fresh ideas and align them with brand and design strategies.
  • Comfortable leading client and consultant meetings, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with strong space planning and technical knowledge.
  • Sociable, team-oriented, and someone who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Ambitious, with a “can-do” attitude and a desire to grow, lead, and innovate.

My client is looking for an experienced Interior Designer with a background in luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial projects who thrives in an on-site work environment. Requirements:

  • 6–8 years’ post-grad experience in luxury hospitality, residential, and corporate interiors.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Interiors to develop and convey the creative vision to the team.
  • Lead design research and establish materiality alongside the materials designer.
  • Ensure adherence to clients stylistic standards at all project stages.
  • Oversee drawing packages, specifications, and schedules, maintaining studio's quality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of joinery, finish details, and FF&E design schemes.
  • Proficiency across all RIBA stages and a solid grasp of UK building codes.
  • On-site construction understanding and FF&E procurement experience desirable.
  • Effective communicator with design team and suppliers; contractor confidence a plus.
  • Mentor team on interior and joinery detailing; freehand sketching skills beneficial.

Summary of Role:

We are looking for a motivated, organised and highly creative individual to assist on fast-paced projects.  As a Creative Graphic Designer you will be assisting the art consultancy, primarily creating unique artwork designs following client briefs, and mainly in 2D.  You will work on a variety of tasks, including creative concept development, producing artwork designs in a range of styles, creating mock-ups of designs, within visuals and on a range of materials and substrates, and creating presentation on layouts.  

Artwork created will be used in forms such as wall coverings, murals, printed artwork, etc., and will be in a variety of styles.  A portfolio will be required, showcasing a range and breadth of design and artwork creation skills.  While this is a small and tight-knit team, you will collaborate closely with the wider company, which includes interior designers, graphic designers, directors, and administrative support. This collaborative environment fosters a dynamic and stimulating atmosphere where ideas are shared, and creativity flourishes.

 

Overall Purpose and Key Responsibilities

  • Artwork concept development, including artwork research and narrative development
  • Creation of artwork designs, mock-ups, image retouching, use of image libraries  
  • Ability to creatively understand the Client’s brief and ensure the design is of exceptional quality
  • Working closely alongside the Head of Art, Senior Art Consultant and Project Manager   

Skills
