About the Role:  

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading architecture firm seeking a talented Architect to join their team for an exciting data centre project. The practice offer expert architecture design solutions for premium brands, financial service providers, technology leaders, and the rapidly expanding specialist data centre market. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact project in a rapidly growing sector. Ideal candidates will be ARB / RIBA ACIAT or CIAT registered, proficient in Revit, and bring experience or a keen interest in data centre design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and development of a high-tech data centre project.
  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to understand and deliver project requirements.
  • Produce detailed design drawings, documentation, and project specifications using Revit.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met on schedule and to a high standard.   

Requirements:

  • ARB / RIBA or ACIAT / CIAT registered.
  • Proficiency in Revit is required.
  • Experience in, or strong interest in, data centre design and architecture.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Position Overview:

The role would suit motivated Architect with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience to join the residential team. The ideal candidate will have experience in luxury multiple unit residential projects with proficiency in Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on large-scale luxury residential projects from concept through completion, with the opportunity to engage in commercial and hospitality projects in the future.
  • Collaborate with Senior team members, design and project management teams to develop creative and functional solutions.
  • Produce and manage detailed design drawings, documentation, and specifications using Revit.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.  

 

Requirements:

  • RIBA or ARB Registered.
  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in large scale high-end residential projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit software.
  • Strong design skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Organised and well thought out portfolio showcasing previous UK project experience

This role offers the opportunity to lead and design a variety of residential projects, from small developments to large-scale layouts of 10-500+ homes, guiding them from feasibility through to planning and delivery. You'll play a key role in delivering innovative, sustainable solutions, managing small teams, and mentoring junior staff, all while helping shape vibrant communities.

 

What makes you good at your job:

  • At least 5 years of UK-based experience working on residential housing developments RIBA stages 0-6
  • Strong expertise in residential layout design and architecture for outline and reserved matters applications.  
  • Passionate about both urban design and architecture.  
  • Solid knowledge of current legislation with a focus on CDM regulations compliance.  
  • Experienced in preparing key project documents, including Design Access Statements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders, lead teams, and mentor junior technicians.  
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; and experience with Revit.  
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and staying within budget.  
  • Hand sketching skills are a bonus but not essential.

Summary of Role:

You are a fully qualified Architect with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience, ideally spanning all RIBA stages, and a proven track record of working on high-end, large-scale workplace commercial projects. With experience collaborating with prestigious clients in prime London locations, you will play a key role in transforming workplaces by producing innovative designs, technical documentation, and comprehensive interior packages.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fully Qualified and registered with a recognised body (RIBA, ARB etc)
  • 3-5 years of post-qualified experience
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential
  • Strong design skills across early concept stages on commercial projects
  • Experience working across all RIBA
  • A portfolio of similar work showing experience in office commercial projects
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Awareness of staff management, fee control, project resource and management
