A leader in their field, they have positioned themselves as an Architectural Practice with exclusive focus on design of the highest-quality supported living and care accommodation across the UK.

You will be joining an established practice with over 60 years, proud history working alongside an experienced and devoted team of 30 architects that is already a preferred partner for over 200 clients across the UK and has a solid reputation in the industry.

Summary of Role:

The role requires the design and management of various projects for the design of new buildings, the spaces in and around them as well as the restoration, refurbishment and conservation of older buildings. In addition, the role necessitates developing new ways of re-purposing existing buildings in order to produce successful schemes with a commercial viability whilst also maintaining and being sensitive to the original building heritage. Involvement in construction projects will be from the earliest stages right through to completion.

The role works under the direction of a director or other senior members of the practice but minimal supervision and independent working is expected.

Ideal candidate:

• Registered with the Architects Registration Board with at least 2/3 years post qualification experience.
• Experience using software packages such as Revit, AutoCAD and Google Sketch Up
• Have good drawing skills, with the ability to work in three dimensions (3D)
• A valid UK driving license
• Candidates should be able to demonstrate a high level of drawing ability to work in 3D along with a solid visual awareness and an eye for detail.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
• Knowledge of UK Building regulations and planning application process.
