What is your role:
You will be responsible for managing and delivering projects from concept to completion with efficient attention to detail through the implementation of ISO19650 Information Management Standards.
You will have the opportunity to show your passion for technical design and your coordination, innovation, and technical expertise to deliver great projects that exceed our client's expectations as well as reflect our values and vision.
Collaborating across multiple projects, you will be driven and proactive, with an open and inquisitive mindset.
What makes you good at your job:
- You an experienced Architectural Technologist working within the UK Building Regulations
- Your CIAT registered (desirable) or have a university degree in Architectural Technology
- You have experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team (desirable)
- You have a good working knowledge of UK Building Systems, Regulations and construction types
- You have an excellent working knowledge of CAD systems including Revit
- You have previously worked within the residential, education or commercial (business space) sector on large complex UK projects.
- You are able to think clearly, are self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimum supervision
- You’re a skilled presenter both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills
- You are someone who thrives in a social, encouraging, friendly environment.
- You are highly computer literate, skilled in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite applications
What the role includes:
- Working closely alongside other consultants, in preparing and coordinating construction packages including technical drawings, schedules and specifications.
- Leading the detailed design process and coordinating design information.
- Carrying out risk assessments.
- Specifying the appropriate technology and tools to be used in the project and advising where this requires deviation from the initial design plans.
