We have a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Manager for an amazing award-winning, AJ100 listed architectural firm in Manchester, UK. They are an international architectural, masterplanning and interior design practice, creating buildings, experiences and spaces that resonate.
We are seeking to fill the key role of practice manager who has a responsibility, under the director, for leading the administration side of the practice. This includes general practice management, marketing and PR, premises management, project, and administrative support.
The role is varied,and tasks include:
- Practice management of all office systems and protocols.
- Updating practice policies and records.
- Practice management of all office systems and protocols.
- Marketing, new business and publicity: promoting the practice via social media.
- Updating company website and promotional documents, liaising with the press.
- Researching new OJEU notices through tender portals.
- Generating PQQ/ITT submissions, awards and helping with presentations.
- Premises management: ordering supplies when needed, liaison with landlord, suppliers, and IT consultants.
- Administration support: meeting and greeting, answering the phone, dealing with enquiries /deliveries, travel bookings, general office organisation and staff events.
- HR: knowledge of visa and immigration procedures, updating annual leave and staff records, recruitment and general knowledge of employment and data protection laws.

Required:
- 4-8 years’ experience in practice management
- Architectural practice background preferred
- InDesign/Word/Excel software skills
- Communication and people management at senior level
- Detail orientated and good judgement of client requirements
