Architect / Senior Architect

Due to increased workload and growth, this multi-disciplinary practice is recruiting for an Architect or Senior Architect to join their award winning team. With a rich history dating back to the 1920's, they excel in architecture, interior design, 3D modelling, and more. They are have extensive experience across a variety of sectors, including health, education, retail, and research laboratories for leading institutions. With two UK offices and over 30 employee’s, they deliver high-quality and efficient design solutions for a range of industries, resulting in inspiring built spaces.

Summary of Role:

‍

We are looking for candidates with experience in delivery of large complex projects with advanced BIM/Revit skills and experience in Education and Healthcare projects. You will be leading multi-disciplinary teams, working in a variety of sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience spanning all RIBA Stages, with a focus on healthcare and education projects in the UK.
• Proficiency in creating technical drawings, coordinated packages, and NBS specifications.
• A strong drive for generating innovative conceptual ideas, researching new materials and techniques, and refining intricate detailing.
• Proficient in essential software: Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Revit.
• Skilled in client, contractor, and manufacturer interactions.
• Proficient in tasks like planning permission applications, tender packages, building regulations compliance, design packages, and detailed technical packages.
• Proven record of conducting site visits.
• Leadership in meetings with Architects and Architect Assistants.
• Expertise in directing and coordinating MEP and Structural works.

Current project is a large London hospital with immediate work being around improving existing fire compartmentation – experience leading / working on fire packages would be an advantage.
