Their expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of landscape projects, including masterplanning, Residential Landscape Design, Public Realm, Hotel & Leisure, Education and Research, Private Gardens & Estates, Heritage Landscapes, Well-being, Crematoriums, and Places of Worship.
What is your role:
As an experienced landscape graduate or recently chartered landscape architect, you will play a vital role in a diverse portfolio of projects, spanning various sectors. Showcase your creativity, attention to detail, and contribute to the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and Landscape Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs).
- Prepare landscape design schemes, write reports, and project manage.
- Manage production and deadlines for assigned work individually or as part of a team.
- Undertake site inspections, boundary surveys, site appraisals, and data analysis.
- Prepare Landscape Management Plans, Measured Works, Cost estimates, and other deliverables within RIBA stages 2-5.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated proposals.
- Execute RIBA stages 5-6 work, including site auditing and reporting.
- Conduct site meetings, planning meetings, public consultation meetings, and design team meetings.
- Manage health and safety risk registers, derogations schedules, and auditing processes.
- Perform other landscape architectural design duties as required.
- Attend project-related meetings with clients.
What makes you good at your job:
- Minimum a degree or equivalent qualification in landscape design and a post graduate qualification or equivalent
- A member of Landscape Institute or equivalent - ideally chartered or planning to become chartered
- Minimum 3 + years post-graduate experience
- Good project, site and task management experience
- Good landscape design experience / skills/ knowledge
- Knowledge of RIBA stages and UK Planning Policy
- Excellent verbal communication skills to engage confidently with clients and team members.
- Outstanding graphic skills and proficiency in developing concepts through to detailed design using AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong written communication, including report writing skills for the production of LVIAs across a wide range of public and private sector projects.
- Experience with Revit software is desirable.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A current UK driving license is desirable.
