The Role
As a Senior Landscape Architect, placed in a team of 5 other highly ambitious, entrepreneurial Directors, you will play a pivotal role in developing and leading the landscape architecture division within an expanding engineering consultancy. This is a hands-on role where you will have the autonomy to shape the direction of the team, win new business, and deliver high-quality projects across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and help grow the landscape architecture division within the consultancy.
- Account Manage current clients and lead on business development, identifying and securing new opportunities.
- Provide technical knowledge and oversee the design and delivery of projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to integrate landscape solutions.
- Manage client relationships and represent the company in the industry.
- Be hands-on in the early stages, with the opportunity to build a team as the division grows.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical knowledge in landscape architecture, including design, planning, and construction.
- Proven experience in business development, client engagement, and winning work.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ambition to build and manage a successful team.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, etc.).
