The Client:
We are seeking a Construction / Technical Architect to join an award-winning practice of architecture and interior design specialists working right across the hospitality spectrum. The creative and friendly team are based in London and work internationally with live projects in hospitality, high-end residential, built-to-rent, student and co-living throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Summary of Role:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect with comprehensive construction experience. REVIT PROFICIENCY IS ESSENTIAL. You will be expected to be client facing and will work with direction from a Senior Architect or a member of the management team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure their project is delivered to a high quality and has been QA’d before leaving the office
- Ensure their project is delivered within budget and programme
- Provide direction on design and/or technical aspects of their project
- Facilitate reviews and design sessions
- Maintain regular contact with their client and design team
- Oversee and support their team
- Mentor team and foster a learning and growth environment
Professional skills
- Be able to work autonomously and lead on the direction of the design with a high level of technical competency
- Be able to programme time and resource, track and report against programme
- Understand how to, and keep projects within budget and programme
- High proficiency in Revit coordination – Navisworks use is essential
- Strong level of construction knowledge
- Good working knowledge of specification writing
- Able to run Design Team Meetings
