What is your role:

We're seeking an experienced Associate Interior Designer specialising in workplace projects to join a leading global design firm listed in the prestigious AJ100. With offices in London, the UK, New York, Singapore, and Amsterdam, they boast a talented team of over 230 professionals.

In this role, you'll showcase your creativity, coordination skills, and technical expertise to deliver outstanding projects that exceed client expectations while aligning with the firm's vision and values.

You are a proactive Associate with a passion for design, strong project management skills, and a focus on quality. Your responsibilities will include project oversight, team management, resource allocation, client presentations, and business development.

Your Skills

  • Revit (Advanced)
  • Highly technical as well as creative (review and input into technical packages)
  • Demonstrate technical competency with all round ability
  • Excellent at developing client relationships and actively promoting the winning of business for the Practice
  • Strong budget management ability, in terms of understanding financial accounting and management accounts and their impact upon the relevant budget
  • Experience managing team workload and resourcing across multiple projects.
  • Highly computer literate, skilled in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite and/or Affinity Suite applications
  • Skilled presenter both verbally and visually
  • NBS specification writing

      

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Interior Design;
  • Proven experience of leading the design of high quality interiors projects (workplace);
  • Significant experience of working within workplace (as an associate or equivalent level)
  • Hospitality and Residential experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience of running BIM ISO projects
  • Experience with brief taking;
  • Experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team;
  • Experience coordinating with M&E and other consultants work
  • Knowledge on workplace strategy and experience translating these proposals into a design solution
